And as it goes with updating stuff inconsistencies emerge. Luckily @taste1 took a closer look and quite some bugs could be tackled on the go. Did you know for instance, that adaptor:ex crashed if you tried to quit a session and there is another Telegram Send Message left to go? We for sure didn't...
But Version 2.7 not only brings you updated dependencies and bug fixes:

Repeating stuff in adaptor:ex was always easy. Still have the moment in my bones when we accidentally built an infinite loop that sent the same sms nonstop via Twilio. Some 1000 messages and merely 50$ later the exciting cycle could be stopped.
From today there is more control over repeating stuff. Proudly presenting the Iterate Action that allows to easily build for each loops.

Für einige der letzten Produktionen von machina eX mussten wir die Validierung der Tickets in das Game integrieren. Etwa wenn das Publikum wie in Homecoming zuhause gespielt hat oder wie bei Patrol und Wenn der Regen kommt das Spiel alleine im Telegram Messenger startet ohne zu Begin der Aufführung bei uns vorbeizukommen.
Dabei ist eine Web APP entstanden die uns hilft die Verwaltung der Veranstaltungstermine und den Ticket und Registrierungsprozess zu organisieren.
Das Heft Das Digitale Foyer vom FFT Düsseldorf ist der Zugang zu einem Chatbot Adventure von Anton Krause und Robin Hädicke (machina eX). Das Projekt nutzt Telegram Bots in adaptor:ex um euch gebührend digital in den Foyers der Oper am Rhein und des FFT Düsseldorf zu begrüßen.
Wenn der Regen kommt ist gleichzeitig Telegram Adventure im Stadtraum und Indoor Theater Game. 30 spielende werden von Chatbots, Live Performenden und der Theatermaschine durch das Game geführt und vor wichtige Entscheidungen gestellt. Für Wenn der Regen kommt verschaltet adaptor:ex den Telegram Messenger, Licht, Sound und interaktive Bühnendevices.
Das Theater Game von machina eX hatte am 4.Oktober 2023 am HAU in Berlin Premiere.
